If you are staying at the blocked hotel for the conference, parking will be provided for free and it is a 3 minute walk to the lindquist Center. If you are staying elsewhere you can take free public transportation to the lindquist center stop.

• Bust stop #1051 can be accessed using a number of routes, and stops just outside the Lindquist center.

If you are staying in the Graduate hotel parking is in an attached garage and provided for free. If you are driving to campus, there is an hourly paid parking garage across from the Lindquist building at the Old Capitol Mall.

If you’re using Lyft or Uber, it is easiest to be dropped off In the small parking lot behind the Lindquist Center.

Cedar Rapids airport is a 30 min drive from Iowa city, If you are flying in, you can us the https://www.380express.com/

Or you can email Cassandra-olmstead@uiowa.edu to see if a ride can be provided. Students from UIowa will be attempting to coordinate rides for those who need them, this is not promised, but we will do our best to assist in getting people from the CID airport to Iowa city.

We have blocked rooms at the Graduate Hotel, and information about booking is below. There are a number of other hotels in the area if you prefer to stay in one of them. Feel free to reach out to us if you have questions.
